Well here I sit. My truck finished. Found out that the ECM was messed up from when it was repaired on the road. They did not have the parameters set up. Was getting ready to take delivery on the new Volvo until found out something today. Mandatory to use ATBS. I will not pay then $1,000 per year for doing the same job that my accountant charges me $200/year. I just do not care for their services from long time ago. Now I have to think about my future here. Not staying company driver at this rate for mpg and the other day I had some detention and they told me to eat it because they do not want to make the customer mad by billing them for 1.5 hours. This makes for me over 5 hours in detention that I have eaten.

 

That's what happens when you lease under someone else' authority. They call the shots, you don't.

 

Well, he's not leasing, he's company driver, as I understand

I am right now. Have been wanting to go lease since before started. And now that see ATBS is required if I get the Volvo, that just became a deal breaker for me

 

I don't blame you there. When I was at JCT they tried to push ATBS. I asked, why pay for something when my wife is an accountant. Plus after talking with Dan about the 780's, I don't think you would want it anyway. Heard it was pretty stripped down.

Nice miles. I have gotten caught up in some black hole where as company driver seeing many checks under 2k miles per week. Lots of Tuesday deliveries. This next Friday 1800 for pay, and unless get lucky out if California next Friday looking at 1400. If this is what seeing as company driver, really do not to make a jump to the other side.
