how hard would it be to change the 63" sleeper on my 2001 peterbilt 379 to a 70" sleeper off of a 2005 peterbilt 379?

If the openings are the same it shouldn't be to hard . I would think the heat and a/c would be the hardest and that isn't to bad. The wiring should be pretty straight forward . I would think you could do it in the driveway over a weekend with the help of a few buddies and a couple of cold ones . Oh and a fork tuck would help a lot too !

Is it hard no is it worth it for the 7 inches I say no. Ac lines power lines audio lines might need to be extended.

That 7 inches is a huge difference. I went from a 63 to a 72 and felt like i was moving into a mansion.

Yes it's 9. Tho that extra 2 inches probably isn't as big a difference as the first 7. A 63inch bunk in a pete with a 36 inch mattress barely leaves with room to stand up to get dressed in the morning. Plus the way sleepers are measured, from back of the cab floor to the outside rear wall of the sleeper...you lose another 2 inches.
