12 cars??

Here is what the double car carriers look like down in Australia , pretty neat unit, wish they were US legal.

 

B trains are legal in some states. MI for one. Unless that changed.

 

Man I love that front bumper on that Cat truck (8600 Int) but I have only seen them down under?

I seen one of those for the first time a couple weeks back as well.

 

If it was used in Michigan, it would be toooooooo long. These were made for Canada, Cottrell also made some longer units for Mexico, 15 cars. Cottrell also lists other rigs for Australia.

 

Back in the mid 90's we did a project with Ford taking Cuatitlan product off rail and meeting the Mexican Carrier, Travesa at the border in Nogales, AZ. They hauled 15 Ford Contour/Merc Mystique. Their trucks were top shelf too. Contrary to what you hear about Mexican equipment. It was an interesting project.

 

Yeah Karl, but not everybody hauls Matchbox cars, lol

 

Nothing there I used to load this crazy #### all day!!! 13 cars on a day cab with a high rail. Sorry couldnt remember how to insert a picture directly.
