That fear is justified too,
Kenworth tried to introduce the ugly but aero T2000, was met with almost no interest. iirc there are the two demo models on our roads and thats it.
Aussie drivers want tradtional. look at the K108. its not a great deal different from the 100 series.. There are differences, but nothing major for fear of upsetting these guys.
I know about the new trucktop on the edge of the bypass( used to travel past it several times a day rinning the rig around. ) Problem with it is that they skimped on the parking and now its so overcowded its not funny.
They have been known to come out and tell certian truck drivers and owners not to park there... some truckstop. plus its always a few cents more expensive even after theri 2cents per litre discount for over 100 litres...

I havent looked closely at the truck enough to find out who makes it...but Yellow has brand new cab-overs that I see daily.

If the truck stop gets too "crowded" and drivers are forced to move out, would that mean driver may have to resort to parking on the road in order to take a break from driving? which means the interior must cater for those that may dine inside their trucks?
yellow? i did a quick search, are they autrala based? using Mitsibishi trucks? not sure? -
there is 0% carefactor on why or where the removed trucks are to go..
The ability to pull into any rest area 'out the back of bourke" and be able to jsut a table inside the cab, on freezing or hot days in an airconditioned environment would be appreciated by some.. Personaly i like the sight of loots of trucks, like at tarcutta midweek at around midnight when all the changeovers are going on, but some of thedrivers attitudes leaves me prefering solitude.
Most people here are US based, and Iwould hazzard a guess and say that ziggy was refering to the US based 'Yellow" company -
Correcto, I didn't notice he was from Australia when I wrote that, probably didn't make sense.
