Had on the Volvo form with no luck trying on here,

My friend has an 2006 D12 670 he's getting this code in question, he has replace the Low Pressure Sensor on the manifold ( turbo boost sensor ) and still having the same code, plus he has no turbo boost, when this code is Active.
When this code is not Active truck runs find.
After replacing the turbo boost sensor the code is Active all the time!
One more thing when he bought this truck his differential sensors never worked properly sometimes they work or not. Mostly not. Just trying to find out if it's the ECM or the wiring harness or not ?
    Any help would be appreciate.

    Could be the #5 injector?

Just for starters I think checking wiring harness for any places it might have rubbed through.

Why do think it a fuel injector problem?

Most likely a wiring issue with the manifold pressure sensor. FMI 5 is low current, so I'd be looking for a bad connection in a connector or wiring back to the ECM. If you can't find a bad spot in the harness, you'll need to take the connector off the ECM to check the pins and test the harness. An ohm test may not show you a problem since it sounds like it's intermittent. I'd disconnect all the wires at both ends and jump power to them for a voltage drop test. Or have two people, 1 to wiggle the harness and the other to watch for fluctuations.

I missed the mention that the code stays active once the sensor was changed. I'd be looking very closely at the harness end that plugs into the sensor. Grab each wire and give them the 10 lb pull test. It's not uncommon to have wires break internally at the connector and they may have been disturbed when the sensor was changed.

    v6killer Thanks this.
