I never heard of these guys until today, but it seems like a better program than most others and you have a variety of companies to sign on with.

As long the truck is returned to the proper terminal in good mechanical and dot conditions you can just walk away with no penalty to you or your credit. Only issue is you have to wait at least 6 months before you can lease from them again and they may charge you a deposit fee next time around.

I talked to Celadon and they told me about a program I could do before I decide to do a standard lease, it sounds to good to be true, you have to pick a used truck, but it's full maintenance, meaning they pay everything: PM's, if a tire blows, belt breaks, sling a rod, transmission needs rebuilt, anything bumper to bumper, they take care of it. Meaning I just pay fuel, I'll be payed 75% line haul value. Anybody heard of, or done this with Celadon?

I think some of you guys are looking at this backwards. You are concentrating more on the truck than the company. Quality leases the truck (a tool) and is owned by Celedon. They have created a bigger lease company by allowing you to take the truck to other companies. (agreements made with these other companies to ensure they get paid of course) You need to be approved to lease on to a company before you get a truck. Once you are approved to lease on you can find a truck, wether you get it from Quality or somewhere else. No point buying/leasing a truck before you have a place to put it.

one decent company on qualities page is venture logistics/transcorr. I have been here as a "COMPANY" driver for going on 90 days now. I really enjoy working here. I dont have to beg and bribe to get decent miles. THE BIGGEST problem is for company drivers there are 0.00 trucks available. I am currently running a POS loaner cascadia with 3 million 712k miles on it. all they are doing is piecing it together rather than finding a different truck for me. I am considering leasing from quality myself at this very moment due to the crappy truck Im currently in.

More or less that is absolutely correct. the LESS part is you must provide at least 30 days notice of returning the equipment back into them and then after the 30 days you are free and clear. NO CREDIT PINGS, penatly or anything. REMEMBER I SAID AFTER THE 30 DAYS notice is completed.

that is the RENT TO RUN program. here is how it works

you pay them 1100 weekly and pay out for fuel and they pay you 70% of the load and cover all maintenance. its a good deal but who has 1100 cash ready to pay them at the end of the first week. NOT ME.

You complete orientation like normal 2-3 days choose the truck and then boom on that friday they say 1100 please. this is how it works. UNLESS they have changed the program since 8/15/16 thats how it works.

Do not go to Quality broke you will need some cash to hold you over at least up to 3 weeks. Last I checked you receive a grace period of 2 weeks minimum before they start collecting truck payments. All your other fixed cost insurance, maintance escrow, etc are due at the end of the first week once you drive off the lot.

So their pay period ends on Friday? I'll actually be going to orientation on a Wednesday so I should have a week to get it hopefully, right? I was also told 900 a week and 75% not doubting just asking, I know recruiters lie.
