Hey fellow drivers,
I just recently got setup with a f350 6.7 & 40ft pro trak gooseneck trailer. I've signed up to almost every load board out and haven't caught one single load inside of Florida (looking to stay In Florida). All I was able to do was pull an empty 40ft shipping container from Tampa Fl (home base) to Jacksonville port (trapac) which is what I used to in a 379 as my old gig. Anywho any help or directions appreciated guys love the forum and the help I see on here, also waiting on central dispatch to give me the green light so I can start hauling Cars as well.

As your most likely aware Florida is probably the worst state for freight period. Cars from Central Dispatch aren't going to help much either.
Transporter350 Thanks this. -
Hope you don't have big payments. Never much in FL.I quit going there.
All load boards have the same loads pretty much except cars.Transporter350 Thanks this. -
Lots of golf cars, and boats move around FL. Start calling dealerships. Also talk to any fabrication shops, in your area.
Joab Rynere, Lite bug and Transporter350 Thank this. -

I go into Florida knowing I usually have to drive out empty upto Georgia. Atlanta/Macon you can usually find stuff in any direction. Florida is a tough one. Loads go extremely fast in the morning.

I am looking to run in FL, only. Wanting to know if there are dispatches/load boards that can help me get loads.
I will be using a pickup truck with goose-neck trailer for hauling cars..Any information will be greatly appreciatedbuckeyerican Thanks this. -
I'm in Arkansas and just getting started. Not really wanting to haul cars but I do have a 35 foot dovetail. I've heard of people working across state lines here in AR with FL to move cars and boats. Where a customer wants a new car in FL or a boat and the AR and FL drivers meet half way and transfer the load. I use to know someone whom did this 3 days a week and made good money. Wonder if this kind of stuff still happens.

I'm new to hotshot, and looking to lease. I have a 2011 GMC 2500HD and no trailer until I know the company's trailer requirements i.e. dove, straight w/ ramps, etc.

I planning to start up my own hotshot. Just going to run in florida only. I will be purchasing a dually truck, and 40' goose-neck trailer to haul cars, or other loads.
Wanted to get some advise from fellow hotshots that run in Florida.
1. I would like to work with a single dispatch does any one know any good dispatcher, or load boards?
2. Do i still need an IFTA sticker if running in FL. only?.
Any additional help/ advice would be gratefully appreciated
