Bus accident with illegal alien driver

Whoever hired this guy should go to jail too, prayers go out to all of the victims and their families, so sad.

OK, to clear this up, if they are working on a work visa, then they are NOT illegal. They are here for a specified time, (and I think for a specific job, but I could be wrong on that.)
That being said, this is an area that I have very mixed feelings about. Having worked for a number of years, right north of the border, I had much contact with illegals. AND was directly responsible for literally hundreds of them being apprehended and turned over to US Border Patrol for processing. Then came that idiotic court ruling that local law could no longer enforce any immigration laws. . .Talk about politics at its worst.
Anyway, back to the situation with the illegals, it is not the Mexican people in general that are a problem. It is the ones that are (guess what,) ILLEGAL. What is so hard to understand about that word?
OTOH, having a lot of contact with these people, both legal and illegal, I sort of came to a different point of view. You all know the arguments already, so I won't go there now. But, I've seen people come over who lived like you and I would never live, to make enough money to keep their families from starving to death. And do it year, after year.
But, Illegal is still illegal, any way you cut it.

 

Hell half the dock workers at the forwarding houses in Laredo live in Mexico , I've even talked to a couple Anglo Saxon American drivers that live in nuevo Laredo mexico.

 

No difference from drivers with suspended liscense.

 

Oh lord I could care less about the illegal argument. R.I.P to the first responder . I wasn't there and I don't know whos at fault or how the accident took place but any lose of life is sad . Glad to see civilians and others tried to help .
