Local guys wear uniforms, otr and regional can wear what they want within reason.

 

whts the average regional pay ? is it bi weekly or weekly pay?

 

I wish we had uniforms like the local guys.

 

Pay is biweekly, and i couldn't tell you what the average is for regional, but as otr, i am getting an average of 3000 miles per week when i run solo. Are you experienced?

 

yea, im currently with cr england.. on my 4th month with them. after i finish the 9 month contract. im headin over to abilene, going regional..

 

How long you required to stay out in OTR, or Regional living in RI? Are there dedicated customers up in this area?

 

Minimum time out for otr is 2 weeks. I go home every other weekend. Again, i can't speak to regional. We have runs into the ne regularly, so home time shouldn't be an issue. Every 6 days out for otr is a full day home so 12 days out == 2 days home, 3 weeks == 3 days, etc. Also, Abilene does their best to accommodate any special circumstances that may arise.

 

Also I'll be moving down to Key West in about a year, I see Abilene goes down into Florida, they get down to the Keys as well?

 

Sorry about all the questions, but Sandra called me on Friday informing me I've been approved for hire, and I'm needing to take home 8/900 a week, and not sure what would get me there OTR, or Regional!!!
