    There's a couple areas hiring UPS OTR dedicated drivers in my area.

    Are these the lower paid, no union drivers?

    in boston ,ny. nj big metro areas ups cartage pays just as much per hour as parcel just not as much overtime.also not breathing down your neck airfreight is different no such thing as in and out lots of paperwork and waiting

    What is "cartage" in terms of what you're referring to. i know what cartage means down here, but i think you may be referring to something else?

    I see a lot of white Freightliner M2 straight trucks running around up here in Cleveland with the UPS logo on them, but there all white and on the door they say UPS Cartage. Must be hauling bigger then average small hauls or something?

    Ok, it's called UPS Cartage and/or SCS supply chain services? Formed from Emery Worlwide:

    So, there's at least 3 companies under the UPS umbrella:
    Small package, the one that started it all and has been around all these years, the small brown step vans.

    2) UPS Freight

    3) UPS Cartage.
