Just curious which trucks/company you steer clear of when going down the road? My choice is simple 1.. CR England! 2 believe it or not fedx. i seem to always run into a fedx driver thats seems to have to much caffiene in him/her. mostly doubles drivers. since my truck is slow they seem to think they can run all over me and expect me to get out of they way on a seconds notice. cr england trucks i just plain avoid. just today coming down I-15 im behind a cr england driver 2 truck lengths back im watching him and hes coming up on a four wheeler way to fast and swerves into the hammer lane must have missed her by 10 inches. then this moron slows down in the hammer lane............ i pass him in the slow lane. guess what this moron is doing?! texting on his cell phone. then this idiot speeds up and just as im about to flash him over he swerves in front of me, now 100 yards ahead theres a rest area. he exits! thank god. a o/o passes me and he knows by the shaking of my head what im thinking and he does that idiot look andpoints at the england truck. this is just one example of englands drivers. more to come.

I had my truck hit by an England driver at a fuel stop in OH . I was inside and saw him pull to another parking space as I was coming out . He denied hitting my truck but police came out and found paint chips from my fender on his trailer bumper . The police took several pictures including measuring tapes showing the height of the damage to my fender and the height of his bumper . When I called England's safety manager his first words were "Do you have a witness ? We don't pay if there isn't a witness ".
But the company I try to avoid is U.S. Xpress . Impossible to avoid them though because if you are doing 60 m.p.h. in a 55 m.p.h. zone they're come hammering up and get past you at 65 m.p.h. + . I've been in the center lane and had them try to go around on the right , drop back and tailgate my hazmat tanker , then pass on the left where trucks are prohibited . -
Before I retired, I was one of the slower drivers out there. However, whenever I saw a B & B Mail Service in the distance, I started moving to the passing lane. B & B of Kalamazoo was the slowest of the slow.

With the exception of Walmart trucks, I try keep some distance between myself and all the other trucks on the road. Walmart drivers aren't perfect but I see very few bone-head maneuvers from their drivers.

All co's have the #######es on the cellphone in heavy traffic, while "trying" to hit a dock, etc., along with the same mentality as a vast number of 4wheelers.
And, it's not just the co. drivers. How many O/O billy big riggers are out there? PLENTY!. The best bet, be cautious around ALL big trucks.
But, the ones I do watch out for are the Manatoulin trucks in Ontario. Those poor guys are governed at something like 55 mph, and you know you'll be going around them -

The ones I aviod is Swift they most of the time forget that they have mirrors on the each side of the truck.
They try to get over before they are clear of your truck. -
The ones I have had more problems with is swift and here lately is jb hunt

Fedex, UPS, Swift and Owner operators are the ones that I find causing me alarm most often.
Come on drivers, just because your DOT bumper cleared my grill does NOT mean it's time to come back over.
I know I'm only going 60, I don't like it either, but please, leave a little room for safety before merging back in front of me.Lurchgs Thanks this. -
What i hate is 3 lane highways with no truck in left lane but you got all them company drivers "hammer down" in the center lane and wont move, thats when this billy big rigger has to do some creative driving........ WAKE UP AND DRIVE that pizzes me off the most, if you know you cant go more than 60 then MOVE OVER!!!!!!!!!!! Thats why you got O/Os cutting you off, we have a job to do and wanna go home!
