I'm leaving this weekend, for Transam, KS. I was looking for somethng local when I graduated, nothing came through. So I decided Otr 1 yr Otr would give me the experience, for a better paying local job. Hope you have a great time at Roadmaster, it was a lot of fun!!, for me. Any questions about anything just," shout back".:biggrin_25520:

You'll also have an income while you look for that local job. Keep an eye on your news paper listings but also keep an eye open on who has trucking businesses around your area and then cold call on the ones you want. Not all driving positions are listed.

thanks, for the input, Brickman. The economy is really struggling, here in southwest Fl. I'm just wanting to get a decent job to support my family.:biggrin_25517:

How did they treat you at Roadmaster in Tampa? Who did you go to work for? Any regrets or suggestions? I am considering going there too.

I'd take the long run. I'm antisocial, so that would mean I don't have to talk to anyone for 3 days.

And you'd not have to post here, either. Bliss at both ends! :)

Update .... I really had a good time at roadmaster Tampa. And I went to work 4 Werner. Down all u haters. It took me 3 months to go thru my training went solo Jan 18 2008.I really don't have any bad things to say about Werner. I have had only small issues with them. I do know drivers that have had so many issues they don't work here any more
