UPS Freight Diary:

i'm pretty sure the OTR truckload freight ARE NOT union, but i have not had time to check up on this.

 

Positive things:
Lots of automagic transmissions, and when i say automatic i mean a REAL AUTOMATIC with torque converter. An Allison 2000 i think. None of this "automated stuff," which is just stupid. This make the job better.

Air conditioning so good, i have to turn it down.

Still better than foodservice. You guys are in the trenches.

 

Sorry i haven't had time to to post. So far i have grossed $48684.14 according to all the paychecks i've received (i've actually grossed more, just haven't been issued the checks yet.)

No, i am not presently looking for another gig, i am doing research for an unrelated project.

P.S. Have been running linehaul lately, subbing in for someone. Just drop and hook no dockwork.
