I worked at Wybran Inc who has yards in batesville AR and kearnes city TX. I thought at first oh they have 7 trucks there small they will care but let me tell you about this. They run paper logs and wanted me to run 2600 miles in 3 days and anyone knows that is illegal and not only that it's dangerous cause it will make you very tired and possibly kill someone. So of course I said I couldn't do it so on the day it was suppose to deliver I was taking my 10 hr break and wake up to someone under my hood. It was the mechanic and the night time dispatcher, I get out they say get your stuff out the truck, I'm like really? Just gonna leave me like this? And all they said was yep. I tried texting and calling the boss Leo and no response. They did me wrong and the part that's bad is I live in TN and this happened in Texas. Stay away from them, they will screw you over and not only that will risk your life and job for a load, I got put oos for a weld being cracked on my landing gear and they still wanted me to run a load, which I denied to do but they was mad. They have 7 trucks but there csa is a 96 so I advise not going here. It's not illegal to leave a driver stranded but it's immoral and God knows all of us. Are there any good people out there anymore? If there is there not here.

I worked for those idiots for a week when they where doing oilfield stuff. Trucks were all messed. They trained me for a week in a brand new truck with another driver. Then they gave me some broke down truck with no breaks and wanted me to work 20hrs straight. That's as far as I made it. Good luck getting your w2 next year for taxes. Just got mine filed last week thanks to wybran
Paul Bunyan Thanks this. -
How do you see that CSA score
-
Yeah they are terrible and Dang, they should be shut down and I had a dot officer show me there score when I was put out of service for there crappy trailer repairs
-
Sounds like they did you a real favor by kicking you out of that truck. The way they did it was childish but at least you wont wind up dead in a ditch somewhere by trying to cover 2600 miles in 3 days. Good for you for having a backbone. Good luck at the next gig.
Paul Bunyan Thanks this. -
Thanks, yeah it was very disrespectful and crappy and yeah I had a job that day, that's what I love about the trucking industry
-
Good for you standing up to them...If all drivers stood there ground these types of outfits wouldn't have anyone to operate their trucks.
Paul Bunyan and LindaPV Thank this. -
WyBran Inc has always tried to do the right thing by everyone that has worked for them. I know of several times drivers and would go missing for couple days and WyBran Inc has kept drivers on after them doing this. This Driver that is trashing WyBran Inc Had went missing 3 times prior to this. One time in MO where WyBran Inc got local police to go do welfare check on driver. In MO this driver had got loaded and back tracked 250 miles to see some girl and was supposed to be in OR but delivered load 3 days late. Driver was on a load coming threw Texas where he would not answer his phone. Driver was offered a bus ticket for himself but he had a rider in the truck with him without permission from WyBran Inc and WyBran Inc refused to pay for the riders bus ticket.
As for anyone that has ever worked in the oilfield in south Texas you can understand why trucks have issues. And in any Boom The State Law enforcement hire a lot of Dot to solely work on revenue and this is how WyBran Inc's CSA got so bad.johnwayne187 Thanks this. -
dude how did u knew bout tht

It appears @Paul Bunyan hasn't been around here since mid-May this year. Would LOVE to hear his rebuttal....because at this point I'm inclined to believe @WyBran .
That being said....if ANY company sent mechanics for ANY reason to "kick me out of the truck"....there would be blood somewhere in the vicinity (mine, theirs, ours...whatever) if they didn't bring the cops with them. Just saying.Last edited: Jul 6, 2017
