    I finally gave in and switched to a Mac.
    But not all like that option... ;-)

    Well that is an PDF file, not an Excel file.

    https://get.adobe.com/reader/?promoid=KLXME

    Watch the middle box - optional offers... unclick then install

    Now you can set MS 10 to read PDF's in the Edge, that seems to be where the issue is.

    Here is how you reset it to open as a regular PDF file, just click on Adobe.. the PDF is made for going from Adobe to Edge for the Dock..

    They want to to create another user that doesn't have administrator privileges for safety. You can still do most admin tasks but it will prompt you for the admin password when you need it.
