Really sorry that happened Redtwin and I agree with you all. That bolt wasn't there too long. Personally, I'd fight it if I could show the time from my last stop to them pulling me in wasn't long. Easy to pick up all kinds of crap in a few miles.
If you were pulling heavy it likely happened shortly before you got pulled in. If not, it could have been some miles ago.
Do you know how long it was from your last stop to getting pulled in?Redtwin Thanks this. -
So @RebelChick wins the prize!
..... a Gatorade run to Mountain Top PA for me tomorrow. Dropped that loaded box in the yard at 4:30 and picked up the Gatorade. A dry van and not too bad at 78,400.
Getting kinda low on hours and a couple days away from recaps yet. Just might do a 34 in PA and try to see my brother and his family. I know they'll want me back in Richmond soon though. I have my own meeting with Scott (Whistling) ... I pushed the envelope a bit with the electronic secretary and he called me the second I got on sight with that HP load in MN 2 days ago ...
... LOL
Seems he needs my autograph.

You can do a data q challenge on it. That is the only recourse you have on CSA points
-
Do you get the MetLaw option through work?
If you do, just turn it over to them.Redtwin Thanks this. -

I got hit in California years ago on the I-10 inspection station. First time I or my truck had been to Cali. Inspector with a creeper, flashlight, magnification glasses and a job to find ANYTHING wrong found a "cracked brake drum". Hours from anywhere, I was cited and shut down. Road service finally showed up, but didn't have a replacement drum. Had to wait several hours to get back in service. But, upon showing the service bill, the ticketing officer voided my ticket and off I went.
Now that I think about it, I have a screw shaft in one of my tractor tandem tires. Guess I'd better yank that out.
#### sorry about your luck, @Redtwin .Redtwin Thanks this. -
Never saw a crack in that drum. Someone got paid that day, but it wasn't me. Crooked Californians.

Seems like everyones catching the bad luck flu, might have to quarentine myself till it passes, but seriously, sad to hear about everyones bad luck.
Some points from last week
-people who have MINOR fender benders and dont move from travel lane have always frustrated me, but atleast previously i could chastize them in person and court(not like it was a merge point to the gwb or anything in the daytime)
-boston suburbs are small and tight, but nothing hit despite a S backing manuver and some streets designed when horsepower meant something else entirely
-split breaking to be sure that im on time for HP and then contractor is over 2 hours late which guarenteed i wasnt making it back to richmond that night. I would have only been 10-15 min late if at all, but cant predict afternoon traffic
-a certain warehouse outside scranton PA(cough P cough G) that has you drop trailer in door, and call 2 hours later to check on it, plus delivery menus at gate, so took ten there as wasnt leaving anytime soon.
Got back thursday night and went in friday and got a load going to groveport today which is where i sit. Surprised by the deadhead move back, but its prolly bc of the holiday weekend. You know, those times when others get extra time off for shenanigans
NfdLonesome, Redtwin, KD5AXG and 1 other person Thank this. -
I'm taking a 10 in Groveport, too. I'm with trailer on the rock road behind where the bobtails park. Taking this load to St. Louis for a two stop on Thursday morning. So, I'll get a reset on Monday. A whopping 466 miles, but miles is miles. Interested in how this next week plays out.
Night, all.
