Looking into Buying this 2007 W900 flat top C15 NXS 475 it has 650k Miles But 30kHrs 13sp with 3.25 rears they want 55k for it ... I have the option to get an extended warranty which I think is a good idea. I Haul steel locally In illinois and Indiana mostly. Would this be an ok buy? And is there anyone who can run the engine serial to see if it has had the warranty work done-NxS06338. Please and thank you in advance

    I don't know I've seen 2012's going for 55 to 60 with only 400,000 miles.

Are you sure the miles don't have a one in front of them

Let me guess, the salesman said it was much better then a younger truck because it doesn't have DEF?

If it's what you want and you can afford it, then it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks!

    Go get it.

But don't forget to do a thorough inspection.

Get a full ECM dump, have an independent shop go over it.

No they didn't say that at all, its just what I have come across and have seen other drivers go through with the DEF and DPF with the younger trucks that makes me want theory stay away

    Bakerman Thanks this.

Price seems steep and miles low And you know odometer only goes to 999,999 miles and rolls over. But I'm with Bakerman if you want it and can afford it go get it. Live the dream.

That truck has had A LOT of idling. I also drive a 2007 with a C15 Acert with 906k on the clock and 25k hours. That is an additional 5k hours on that truck. Heck the truck will probably not have 30k on it by the time it reaches 1 million miles.

Unless it was driven by a team there is no way possible for it to be over a million.

I'd imagine it's been in oilfield pulling pneumatic and pumping off a lot or something similar wouldn't you? Lot of pto hours or lot of idling
