well here we are at Thanksgiving I am home after 3 weeks on the road things are ok but only ok the work is good there are a lot of low rates which i dont take and they keep me busy most times....i hate downtime i did relize that i made a mistake buying a prostar it is HEAVY the truck with headache rack weighs 21000 lbs with my composit fontain trailer i can only haul 44000lbs a lot of loads are stated at 46000 and i can not scale that so i will be looking at buying an all aluminum trailer first than mabey updating the truck.....the truck is running good on my first trip i was only getting 4.5-5 miles per gallon i had a clogged DPF well i deleted all the emmisions and now even with a bad CAC and 1 leaking injector i am getting 8.5 loaded and with a 20000lb load from Atlanta to NJ i got 10.5 driving real easy watching my boost gauge and not going over 20 lbs in the 3 1/2 weeks i was out i was able to net after fuel,plates.insurance and the supplies i got from Mercer i ended up with $2100 in my maintance account and i have 11000 on my fuel card i think that is ok
