At one time i grossed 4 g for net income before deductions and had another 3gs in reimbursement and so out of 7 gs they left me with 800.00 and im like wtf i wached all my fuel and every thing and there are drivers here that run 62 mph and still bring home 800 bucks even running that slow and lowering thete fuel cost

90CPM is pretty low also. Venture logistics pays 1.05 minumum depending on your experience level for leasing plus 100% FSC which means ur making somewhere around the 1.38 or 1.48 range. I know several people who are leasing here at venture and so far their lowest weeks have been 1500 on a 3000 mile week. most of them stay out 7-14 but a couple of them run 5 and home every weekend and still make about 1000 weekly after everyting taken out.

Why didn't you listen to me been saying that on here for years even on the jct thread. You make .90cpm while they make 2.50 a mile.

Any one know of some place where I could possibly lease and not get screwed im looking at martin transport right now as company driver they retirement and all the goodies for company driver but that's not what i really want go do im trying to buy a truck and be my own boss just don't have any money set back to make an out right purchase

I talked to US 1 Logistics and they use Quality Leasing out of Indy also. They pay 75% of the line haul hauling their own freight. I'm currently a company driver for Dodge City Express but I am thinking about a $0 down lease with Quality Leasing. High payments are doable only if you can get good enough rates, $1/mile isn't gonna get it done.

I don't understand how some of you guys think honestly. Going into a lease which you know that it only benefits the company 99% of the time. Not having any money upfront if you think that just because you are leasing a truck you will be making more money think again. What's wrong with working as a company driver save up around 30k and go get traditional financing on a truck.
