Abilene Motor Express....A New Place To Call Home

Another night at the LQ here in Richmond. Just notified that our load will not be ready until the morning.

Trainer has home time scheduled in 8 days. Want's me ready to pass stage two in that time. Shouldn't be a problem. I've been reading the manual most of the day.

@5speed, manual says you can fuel at a Pilot/Flying J and Love's. Though I think the trainee manual is old. In orientation it was pounded in our heads to only fuel at P/J's only. Other places if you have approval. My old trainer also said the same thing.

 

Did you get a new trainer yet? Forgive me, I just skimmed over the last couple of pages.

 

My trainer says that you should only fuel at Pilot/Flying J so you don't cost the company extra money.

 

Just another company wide breakdown in communication. I just texted my fleet manager and asked. Response I got was "good to go"

Yes I did. Sat down with him yesterday and went over his expectations, rules, things like that. Kimberely says he is one of Abilene's best. Didn't get his last name, but his first name is Chris. He is from NC.

 

Lordy, I cannot believe this is still a debate. Whatever! Y'all do what y'all do and I will do as Kolon Jones said I could do-fuel at Loves.

 

With the way ive been running lately (out, 10, back, 10 wash rinse repeat) i have a hard enough time keeping a shower at pfj, how will i ever get 1000 gallons there and now at loves too!

My manual also said pfj and loves but Brian told me to cross out loves as we no longer fuel there.

 

I run steers at 110. 10 psi shouldn't make a huge difference but cant hurt to try and see if it makes a difference.
