I guess our company has hauled them before. I told my dispatcher point blank they'll be sending a driver up on a greyhound to get the truck cause I'll be flying home and going back to work at the prison before I haul that nasty stuff.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

Kicked off my last piece in Seattle today and found onion rates at a 1.66 cpm out of Yakima to Philly ...and they wanted them delivered on Monday !! I laughed and said I'll bounce to kuna ID for hides at 2.20 to eagle pass .
Everything else paid crap to hot spots like billings , las Vegas , Yuma , Phoenix .

tucker, skellr, MJ1657 and 1 other person Thank this.

And I will bet the broker didn't get the slap in the face that you would rather put hides on the deck.

Chewy352, bzinger and MJ1657 Thank this.

I don't know I was talking to my dispatcher and he can be pretty condescending so I'm sure he conveyed my sentiments lol

If I have to haul unions or firewood , I tend to just roll home empty.
