Aleve by the fistful. Another handful of ibuprofen. Yes mixing those is destroying my liver, but some days ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

Feel free to sell all your possessions that you for truelly need in order to give to those folks you are so concerned with that it had you directing your morale outrage at us for our lack of compassion.
As long as you have things you don't need to survive, you're just as guilty as the rest of us. -
I have disabled plates on my personal vehicle and I have a tag to hang in the window for other vehicles I might occupy....
-
Oh wow bud
98 percent? I'm sure you have some source on this lol. If I was you I'd delete that. Most of the folks with that sticker live very difficult lives. Sure maybe a handful put themselves in that boat but 98 percent?
My aunt had cancer in her leg and they had to remove a large portion of nerve/tissue along with it. She wears a custom leg brace and stairs are very hard for her. She's recently had knee replacement and subsequent complications from infection. I suppose she isn't really handicapped just wanted to get good parking at WalmartMidWest_MacDaddy Thanks this. -
Reached that level and they took me off of them as well. Wanted me to only take a couple of tylenol each day.
I am still volunteering as a paramedic. It is getting harder to do that anymore. Unlike most, I still have compassion for others.
My body was attacked by the disease in April of 2015. I am only hoping at this time to survive working until I reach 62. It is still 4 years away and I do not believe the disease will be that willing to wait.
It is an issue that I may not look disabled, but I will be. When you know it is coming, you will look at it differently. -
Your aunt might be. But most aren't. Drs hand out those permits like they are candy on Halloween night. All ya got to do is ask for one cause your knee hurts when you walk.
It's kind of like welfare, some actually need the help and i got no problem with those folks. But for most it's a career choice. Government handouts for life.
The abuse is rampant. And it drives me batty seeing the person that can push around a full shopping cart for an hour on food stamp day park 30 ft from the front door while the old guy that's dying of black lung disease courtesy of working 40 years in the coal mines is pulling his oxygen bottle 200 yards from the back of the parking lot.Florida Playboy and dngrous_dime Thank this. -
LOL!
-
Tell him to go get a Handicap Tag and he too can park just 30' from the front door.
Oh wait... I think I saw him the other day... I just thought he abused his lungs from smoking for 50+ years and deserved the lung damage he got from it... And here he got it from working...
How stupid of me for assuming things... shrugLucy in the Sky Thanks this. -
Wow... Trucker and Doctor... I'm impressed...

So when you are on the list for a liver transplant we all will just ignorantly assume you drank your liver to death...
"Ya, poor devil must have drank a 5th a day to do that kind of damage to his own liver... Guess he had it coming... At least he didn't kill a family of four or a school bus full of kids while drinking that much and driving a CMV..."

Gotta find that song about "I'll pray for you" ... It's all kinds of left handed comments that are actually insults... LOL
