So recently got my own operating authority which is little less than a month old. Haven't even got 2 run get as TX has taken 3 weeks getting me my IFTA. Everything else is done. Was looking into getting prepass but they said my score is showing as a 99 right now. Is this how it always is 4 new authority which kinda sucks... And if so what is best and quickest way 2 lower it so I don't hit every scale and numerous inspections?? Also looking at drivewzye. Any thoughts on it? Thanks in advance. JV

you can see your score in the fmcsa portal:
I got green lights right away, just not as frequently as I do now.TallJoe Thanks this. -
Ya but with my score starting so high I can't even get prepass at all. I'm above there minimum requirements
-
You have to get inspected to get the score down. You can ask anyone to do an inspection. They are suppose to do it when asked.
-
Have you had your new entrant online/phone audit?
-
No have not had my new entry audit yet? Been waiting 4 it but haven't heard anything yet. They originally even had the wrong phone number posted when I got my authority. I finally got in an updated it
-
Having a prepass doesnt mean u gonna get a green light every time u go thru a scale,u still have to work ur way to that point and even then u still going to a get a red light occasionly

Some carriers are selected at random to receive the higher score. At the bottom it will generally say something to this effect. It generally drops down to a normal new entrant score in the 50-60's if there are not any problems.
Become friends with your local DOT inspectors and ask for a terminal insection every 3 months (when you know everything Is working). Qualifying for CVSA decals will help out. -
Can you check my ISS score? I tried to figure out how to pm you but it wasn't that simple.
I also tried to sign up for a portal account, but the FMCSA website says I don't have a DOT number. Go figure, website doesn't have it together. -
I can only see my iss score. I can't remember how I set up the portal, sorry. I think you had to use a pin they snail mailed to you?
6wheeler Thanks this.
