Hello all. There is so much information on this site. Need some advice for me and my friend. If anyone that could help us out that'd be great. I'm 22, my friend is 30. We both want to get into the industry. I've contacted a few companies so far (CRST, xpress) We both need a company that hires teams, that gives good wage, decent vacation time. We both have very little money to start. My friend has a felony(I've read that's a problem with some companies). We are both ready for training, we can leave tomorrow if needed. We are both in a situation where we need to leave (doesn't matter where) as long as we're put as a team(Or can be solo if pay is the same). We've both known each other for a while. It's easier to form a team with someone you know rather than a stranger.
All company suggestions are welcome.
My friend doesn't have experience being in a truck. My dad owns his own trucking company. He used to take me on drives during summer vacation when I was younger. I've also driven a few times.
Thank you for your comments.

No one can help you if we don't know what part of the country you live in. How old the felony is and what for.
Riffman Thanks this. -
Well, that's a tough road for a couple of reasons. Depending on the felony and how old it is, will most certainly present a problem. Also, understand that you will both have to go on a trainers truck, most likely seperately do I hope that won't be a problem. There are some guys that will help you on here more than I can, just put your region of the country and the felony details. Best of luck.Giuseppe Ventolucci Thanks this.

Your dad may have some useful input also, him being in the industry already. You ever drive any of his trucks?
