Fuse size for a galaxy 929 ?

    Bought this radio from a friend last weekend and it's been peaked and tuned .
    Finally used it yesterday and it blew the 2 amp fuse in the power lead ..what amp fuse should I use ?

    If the 7amp fuse blows you have a problem.

    I was always under the assumption that a cb or amp would require 10 amps for every 100 watts so if the 929 is deadkeying 5watts and swinging 20 ( 25 to 30 with mosfet) watts it would draw between 2.5 to 5 amps.
