Well ok. Go ahead and go with CRST. Finish their training and get yourself a class a cdl. During their orientation, polietly stand up, show them pieace sign and get out before signing that contract. Youll have to pay 1500, but TransAm will reimburse. Trust me, trucking with all the extra stuff, is easy trucking. Otherwise youll be in your own reality show, screaming at truck, becouse it wont idle in hot/cold weather.
baha Thanks this. -
Cross winds bother us just as much as a van, if you have a 13' tall load of pvc pipe, it may have a load weight of less than 20,000 but its gonna act like a top hevey empty van in a good wind. That aside....
Flats, yeah flats... i dont have a preference..... but,
Flats . ...... -
CRST has some type of "no compete clause contract" but don't know how strong it is.

The pay is low, but you get paid for all dispatched miles the truck runs whether your driving or in the sleeper. Plenty of miles though and hope you like California because you'll see that state every few days; back and forth, East coast/West coast.RedRover Thanks this.

Yup, i swear it can be worse than a empty van. Not only getting blown around, but watching straps for slack under the constant push...
good times.... good times....

Good reefer trailer & grossing about 79,500 and not much sway in the wind. Most of my career was reefers, but I really liked flatbed.

3 wk. training is not enough time even to learn paper work that must be turned to get payed in while at same time trying to learn to drive and back a truck if you have no ex.? Try prime 1st then work your way down the line to you know bottom of the barrel turning in app.
