I'm still figuring out the specs part at moment. For now, I'm looking at something used but decent power and middle of the road functionality. This was I dont corner myself with any-one capability.

I've noticed that too, it would appear that older sleeper cabs are way cheaper in most cases. Especially cab-over one's since they're that less desirable.

Is this so the sleeper saves you some money when you have to stay the night?

Daycab is the only way to go. I think I've only ever been in a truck with a sleeper maybe twice in my life.

    Day cab=no sleeper.

I like it because of hair pin turns on very old mountain roads...

Right now, I'm just driving a body job service truck. All my trucking relatives only ever ran daycabs so its all I really know.

Just a single drive axle truck with a mechanic truck body bolted on the back.

The one I got promoted to this spring is an F550 4x4. I do miss the old Topkick GMC I had a few years ago though.
