The CoPilot program for Windows PC's works quite well but you will need a gps capable laptop for it and also a touch capable would be highly beneficial.I used it in the past and the only reason I went to the RM units cause it was stand alone and easier to mount in a truck and did have a few bells and whistles that I liked to use.
As you are in the "Great White North" I have found the maps on the CoPilot to be a bit more accurate than the other brands.
Go to Diesel Boss's web site and he has a comparison chart and sells the PC CoPilot program. If you set CoPilot up properly it works quite well and it's realy the only truck specific mapping prog I know of for PC's.
If you want another stand alone unit then there are many choices but I would limit my choices between Garmin and RM,all depends on personal choice as they all have Pro's and Con's
Pc gps?
