Fuel delivery services, williams tank lines, and my company. they are great in traffic and are simple to drive. I personally like to shift gears and when I hauled asphalt oil in an auto I didn't care for it much. When I needed to climb it could be unresponsive and WAY too many jerky up and downshifts- not good when your pulling liquid. I've never noticed slosh as much as I have in an auto. In a manual you can time it and make the surge work with you. That auto made that liquid slam around because it'll just shift on ya.

They had a dedicated account near me that I talked to them about for a bit out of Decatur but in order to be on it you had to lease a lightweight.
I haven't heard much bad about Prime's tanker division, but I have heard a lot of bad about Newark, NJ in general lolcrazeydude Thanks this. -
I'll ask my recruiter next couple a days. I had one my last OTR gig, drove down to Florida and back once a week! It wasn't bad. I was home for 2 1/2 days a week though. That was back in 2011 for 2 months. I got laid off and been doing local peddle routes on Long Island for the last 5 years! Starting to really hate lumping my own freight every day, especially lift gate residential deliveries!
