I've never driven there, but I can give you some trucker hearsay! I believe their P@D pays more than linehaul, they're kinda backwards there. Good hourly wage, but no OT for city guys. I think linehaul pays by the trip. Insurance is probably pricey, but I'm used to the free stuff. Decent looking equipment. Some of their drivers haul ### through construction zones, might be an indicator of how hard they're pushed.
superflow, skinnytrucker, Mike2633 and 2 others Thank this. -
Interestingly enough our line haul driver at Reddaway was just telling me that part about a flat rate for trips as line haul driver.
Man, there's always something wrong with the company that is interesting in hiring you lolMike2633 and Pintlehook Thank this. -
The guys I've talked to seem to be all content there.
BUMBACLADWAR, Mike2633 and Giuseppe Ventolucci Thank this. -
yes we have trip pay on linehaul, where ever you work now stay there. don't come to r&l thinking it's a step up because you would be shooting yourself in the foot. you don't see alot of old timers around here just new guys that forget to open the doors on a van before backing in to the dock.seen that many times.......
Mike2633, Giuseppe Ventolucci and Dave_in_AZ Thank this. -
Mike2633 Thanks this.

I had a buddy that worked for them just for awhile and said the company was worthless. They do trip pay for linehaul. Other than that I I don't know much about them other than the free resorts don't really justify working there.
Giuseppe Ventolucci Thanks this. -
I'm getting less and less excited...TahoeTrucker Thanks this. -
I've heard city drivers need to furnish their own pallet jack. Something to consider.
All the R&L P&D drivers I used to run into regularly were good dudes, and none of them dogged their employer. They seemed pretty happy with their jobs.BUMBACLADWAR and Mike2633 Thank this.
