I was at Carlisle tuesday..pulled pork samiches..there was a long line.
Looked like a soup kitchen from the Great Depression..so I passed.
    BUT..
I dropped at the Kmart DC in Warren Ohio..they gave a me package for Driver Appreciation.
    It contained:
Big Bag of Jack Links Turkey Jerky
Big box of Keebler chocolate covered cream wafers
    Full size Pringles
    Bottle of H2O

    Very cool.

That's pretty bad arse!! Usually treated like a 4th class citizen at DC's. I should have asked before I commented though, did they throw it at your head Nolan Ryan style? Lol

Home till Monday. Awesome. But how I got here was epic....

Started in carlisle. 80 mile deadhead to a live load (Allentown). Supposed to be ready at 730. Got there at 745, told not going to be ready for an hour. Checked in an hour later and was told "oh we haven't started staging it yet, check back in two hours". So, I call Schneider, and after I talk to the dbl and on hold while they call customer service, the guy comes out and tells me to back into dock. I open the doors and as I do, dbl tells me they've pulled the load. And for the best, it definitely seemed like they were planning to lock me in the dock and not load me for a long while.
I wish the adventures ended there. Left heading to P&G in tunk. A decent deadhead. Right as I was at passing that Krispy Kreme, I hear "work assignment Blah blah has been deleted". So. Pull in. Load is gone. Call dbl and they tell me to hang on. Finally, 2 hours later, get a "drop empty and deadhead home" work assignment. Drop empty in Mt. Pocono and deadhead to Bridgeport Ct.

So, 420 mile day. All empty. Rofl. But whatever. I'm home

    Jville drop lot.

Truck driver appreciation? I've heard the words and saw the pictures but only got a pen and laundry bag to show for it.

That's still better than an exam by an overly aggressive proctologist

Don't feel bad. All I got was a bag of dog treats from Purina. And I don't have a dog.
