Actually the diabetes thing is easy to fix. Take an insulin injection especially something like lantus or simply fast for 24 hours before. I have advised anybody over the age of 45 to fast regardless of if you have diabetes or not. The sleep apnea thing at this point is crazy.

I'm a diabetic I'm not driving anymore but keep my CDL and endorsement so I have to do the one year deals. The funny thing is diabetes doesn't run in my family at all but high blood pressure does. I've never had blood pressure though

I'm a diabetic lol

I'm diabetic as well. And i don't suggest anyone take insulin unless perscribed by their dr. Doing so could kill you if you take the wrong amount.TequilaSunrise and TROOPER to TRUCKER Thank this.

As far as blood pressure goes long term get away from sodium. If you have high blood pressure and can handle it the best medicine if the cause is sodium is Lisinopril and Hydrochlorothiazide. Guaranteed to bring it down within 30 days.

You can't legally get Lantus without seeing a doctor!
-
It's definitely out there to buy, illegally of course.Gunner75 Thanks this.

I may be wrong, but I believe you can take Lantus baseline insulin and legally drive a truck.

There are a ton of hoops to jump through.
-
Yes there are, my personal dr has an specialist he works closely with, and is certified tho give dot physicals, he knows the hoops andd had told me that hee will not put me on insulin unless it is an absolute requirement
TROOPER to TRUCKER Thanks this.
