Reddaway pays low compared to Old Dominion, Saia and others, but we get free health benefits, which after you do the math it even out with the rest of the LTL companies.
The money is doing Line Haul driving.

Linehaul at my place currently tops out at $0.63 per mile, plus clock time for drop/hooks, fueling, etc. The guys with easy runs work 10 hours a day for $90k per year. Home every day. Insane.
G13Tomcat and Giuseppe Ventolucci Thank this. -
G13Tomcat, sevenmph and Bob Dobalina Thank this.

If you come over to the food hauling world, you won't be doing a ton of driving, but you'll make good dough last week with labor day and all I grossed $1,800.

Many LTL linehaul drivers pull doubles, but regional companies like mine only pull long boxes.
