Indeed. I don't need this ruining a good career for me. However, they do have a "three strikes" disciplinary system, first time is a warning, second time is a write up, third time (for the same problem) is termination.

Nobody has even mentioned it to me yet. And most of our drivers (who post pictures) do it, and don't remove logos/etc. I have yet to hear of any action being taken.

Granted, the first time something happens that causes issues for insurance, you can bet your ### they'll crack down.

If they push the topic, which if your direct, and non evasive with your responses they shouldn't, you can explain it was a mounted driver facing camera, just like safety uses. They took exception to it. Thats it.

I think a precise explanation of the reasoning behind these policies is due.
I sat in a deposition, I was suing over a motorcycle accident, I was not at fault. Even so, the VERY FIRST question that the insurance company's lawyer asked me after the identifying questions was. "Do you have any social media accounts?"
Yes, it is definitely unsafe to vlog while driving DON'T DO IT AGAIN! But the reason big companies don't like it is because they understand lawyers! It's purely financial. They could give two ####s about safety unless it affects the bottom line. We need to care because they don't.
