Need a little help on a Volvo D12

    I'm having a little problem figuring out a problem on my engine. The truck is a 2005 Volvo D12. The problem is every time I start the truck and once it warms up the truck will then drop idle down to where it almost stalls about every 10 to 15 seconds, The engine does not stall it just revs back up to normal RPM. This problem doesn't occur while its warming up or while driving.

    Egr valve is getting stuck open does it puff black smoke when it almost stalls check your fault codes egr 1 code is mid 128 sid 146. Egr2 mid128 Sid 266. First thing I would check second make sure your not loosing any coolant or egr cooler is leaking and puffs coolant when the egr opens up. But check fault codes for egr 85% sure it's there coupled with smoke and a really bad sulfur burning smell
