What made me chuckle was all the reports and audits and stuff they require their carriers to perform or keep. How many 3 truck operations do you know that have "Service Level Programs?"
Mattflat362, Ruthless and double yellow Thank this. -
If driver is asked they are required to help loading and unloading, for no extra compensation of course.
Dave_in_AZ and double yellow Thank this. -
I spoke with them a few weeks ago. They have no interest in owner/ops, only fleet owners. They want to run them as they see fit and don't want drivers who can make any decisions.

Azon is a strange duck. I know for absolute certain to even apply at their Fernley Nevada D.C. you must produce a high school/GED certificate to work.
Well, let's see.
A.) Discrimination
B.) Jeez, I graduated in '69..may have misplaced it by now.
C.) How would all the Nuggets that our schools have turned out in the last 15+ years even make it thru an application or math test?

I spoke to them about a month ago an individual found me online. After reviewing the paperwork I declined, and he asked why. So I gave him the reasons and I was honest and he agreed. They basically were paying brokers normal or high rates to move some of their freight and decided to save the money offer dirt cheap rates and mirror Fedex grounds model. It's a total scam.

Wow! No good reviews?

to be honest, I've been looking to go to amazon from fedex ground. It's next to impossible to get time off at Fedex. Was hoping it would be better at amazon. but the initial outlay for tags and the insurance has me hesitating. Then I see this.....
Also I have the info from amazon for the NE, but a non-disclosure had to be signed before we got the paperwork. Someone could be held liable if they find out where this stuff came from and they sign the agreement.
