As I finished reading this thread your name came up on the bottom. I have to thank you for this information. This may be a great option for me. I've looked at their website as well and it feels right.

I'm going to be here reading more about them soon.

If you don't mind running reefers only, I would definitely give them a call. They are a great company to deal with thus far in the recruiting process. If you want a variety of loads, or want to only run dry van, tanker, flatbed, you will want to check elsewhere.

So far I have been completely impressed by them.

Thank you for the good information. I went to CDL school on my own so I would have more options on which company to go with . I researched dozens and dozens of companies and JPT impressed right from the get go. My recruiter (Alex) has been nothing short of awesome. Of all the companies I spoke with, there were 4 that kept in touch with me as I progressed through school contacting me about every two weeks asking if I had any questions about the company and to offer me encouragement. That made a huge impression on me vs 98% of the trucking firms that have the attitude: "Yeah - ok - great (translation:- rookie drivers are a dime a dozen). Call us when you get within two weeks of graduating and maybe we will consider seriously talking with you." I had some major dental issues that needed attention and JPT has been very patient granting me the time I needed to get everything squared away. I am set to go to Orientation in early December and am excited to have the opportunity to work for this company.

I appreciate this thread, I am on track to go to the Missoula terminal on the 5th of december to start my CDL training through there program. The recruiter Adam has been very truthful and helpful in the process. I am very excited to get there and get started on my new career.

Best of luck to you during training. Hope to see you in Missoula. Was stationed in MT for five years and cannot wait to get back to Big Sky country.
