Since you plan to basically live in the truck, go with a company like Jim Palmer Trucking. Trucks are set up right for driver comfort and have Tripac APU. It's a coast to coast reefer outfit with an inhouse cdl school. They provide lodging and meals while in their school. You can live anywhere and work for this company.

Not true on only experienced drivers. I got a 3500 sign on bonus for being a new team driver with 0 prior experience.
-
What company?
-
Is 60k achievable first year with Jim Palmer. One of their recruiters reached out told me she wanted to talk with me over the phone.
-
Probably after you get all the training and OJT with a trainer, then probably can. That's hard to predict with any company.

Schneider is giving me a $2,500.00 sign on bonus right out of school...no experience.
Paid out over one year..
I should add...if I did have experience the bonus would have been $7,500.00 -
Is that sort of a reimbursement for school? Mind sharing the starting pay@mile?
-
I'm guessing you're asking me..
The sign on bonus is just that. They are also giving me tuition reimbursement up to 6k which is great because my school cost me $5k but paid out @ $150.00 per month. That's a lot of months I'll have to stick around if I want to see it
As far as CPM pay goes..it's low .33 with .02 safety bonus and regular raises over the 1st year.speedyk Thanks this. -
'zactly what I needed, thank you.

Us xpress gave me the sign on bonus as a new team driver. No experience under my belt
