Up north Wisconsin where we hunt
And at the bar we hang out at telling our hunting stories, lots of drivers come in after work
It seems like they are doing OK hauling pulp wood, but I think that is mostly in winter when the ground isn't so soft
Government land leased to logging companies
They had a pretty good 2007 when the tornadoes hit and leveled a big chunk of the county
But you have to remember that good money up north is 35 grand

It seems all phases of the trucking industry are being effected by this downturn. As we adjust how and what we do some will loose thier jobs. Yes it is sad but thats why it is more important now than it has been in the past to pay attention to details. Not just the O/O but company drivers as well, sad for someone who's made his living haulling sticks to be out of work ... The government is not going to help long term. We have to figure out how to get things done better and for less cost. For thoose guys it wasn't about what they were doing it was the coustomers going away. Nothing they can do about that... My prayers go out to them, and hope they can find a jobn doing something they like.

    Good luck and good truckin

Down here in MS we usually stake out a mineral block at 100 yards in case they're skittish and don't come all the way up to the feeder...
