Location for the night

Are socks legal in all 48? I want to comply with the law by carrying a traction device, without adding weight. When it's time to chain, I go to bed.

I did chain once last winter to get over Snoqualmie. I was empty and was going after a good load in Yakima.

 

I always wear socks, even with flip flops.

Although I never wear flip flops so there goes my story about socks.

 

I saw this coming. I meant tire socks. I know y'all go barefoot down there.

 

I am going to say NO. Just because you don't see the Traction Socks for sale out here. I live in Denver. Plus when it gets real bad they just close it down. There's where you need a real good plan.

My plan is to find a place to park with a hotel and bar.

 

Why not take the truck to a shop and get it changed, better than waiting for SEM.

 

10-4 I did read that CO was one of the few that had OK'd them. CA too I THINK.

I always ended up under the overpass across from the Pilot in Denver. I used to run produce to awful Safeway from L.A.

The hookers got to recognize me after I insisted they leave me alone. One even apologized after knocking on my door and seeing it was me...

Another said, "Honey you in the hood! We doin' the ho stroll." We ended up giving each other our mutual respect.
