I've had two drivers tell me they were legal everywhere now, but I was unable to find anything online to confirm it. Now to find them in a truck stop...

 

Don't worry the first DOT check in a required state will confirm the legality of them.

 

Did you check the state dot web sites that have chain laws? Last time I checked Colorado was about the only state approving them but that was some years ago.

 

Still home. I finally got a morning to shine up both trucks. 6 hours between the two of em and I still have yet to get all of the tar off the tractor from running bobtail through a fresh pave job in the rain but it's good enough for now. I'm more worried about when the wife realizes that I didn't wash her car too.
