Yeah rock the trailer between 1 - 100 times, beat on the stubborn pin, curse. Trucking, like computers, the frustration is seeing WHAT SHOULD WORK not working.

I got a warning for overweight at a scale house in Ohio 15 miles from shipper with no scales in between open on weekends.

This is the same place I was leaving last night and drove 30 minutes in wrong direction to scale load because I knew I wouldn't get off so easy if they got me again. Thus why I didn't give up lol.

The 7 reweighs sucked but you'll get better.
But if your company pays for scale tickets always scale the load.
I still can't tell by feel if I'm legal or not. Neither can anyone else

Take it all in... I don't fault you for many weighs, tho I've never done so many... however, two days ago in Mechanicville, NY my 18 was only riding on 14 as I swept into a left-hand corner too hard (caught that and corrected it, gently in my mirror). Know your center of gravity; know your speed - especially with those high stacked heavy loads (43k, beer, mostly front-stacked). I almost committed alcohol abuse!

I applaud your perseverance. I would have said close enough by the third reweigh. Hmmmmm maybe second.

Amen sister ! I got my only overweight ticket at the scale house on I 70 east of Columbus. Dude was a real jerk. It was my fault but he didn't need to act the way he did.

If your tractor had a suspension load gauge learn where it sits at 34'000 lbs .. then you adjust trailer until it's near where you want it on guage before you roll onto the cat scale ... I rarely move trailer more than 1 or 2 holes after I scale using this method
