Check #1. Is there any damage to your equipment?
Check #2. Did anyone see it happen?
Check #3. Are there any cameras nearby, or other trucks with dashcams?
If the answer to all three is no, then nothing happened.

You can't totally be sure a camera is not recording you, even if no building is around. Some of these new web based camera's are about the size of a dime and can see a gnats ### 300 feet away.

In your first year the chances are you are working for a company that uses DAC. It is on your DAC report. It will not effect future employment in anyway. I left K&B with no accidents however they show 5. All five times I was the one struck. Three times, I was in the sleeper when hit. They are all on my DAC. There are a few Million Milers who have never been in an accident and have never had any incidents. My opinion is they are just not putting in enough effort.

I can remember back in the 60s and 70s you could walk in a truck stop and hardly ever see a tractor with damage on the right side near the tanks, steps or the right fender or quarter panel or bent and missing fairings. Today at least 3 out of 10 will have damage there.
