Okay, I'm not disputing you, but you have to admit that being upset with a particular company and still using their name as part of your log in is a bit of a question raiser. It's kind of unusual, and that's why I asked about it.
And thank you for listing some reasons and problems. It backs up your story much more than your initial post. The more details you provide, the better look people can get at the company. -
Well I also drove for CRST, and let me tell you they are a [crappy] company to work for but all companies are [crappy] unles you are an owner operator thats where you make the bucks.

I Agree with most of these Statments CRST Van Expidited has its ups and downs.. I started out with my brother in law well at the time he was a trucking school buddy.. but any way when i was there i guess i got lucky we got put in a bran new 05 truck...
I would also like to Clear up for the miles portion... They dont just give u the miles.. but they are there Trust me I keep in touch with my old dispatcher from there and he tells me that me and my bro's record is still in tact for the most miles driven in 1 week on his board.. wich is 9400 something i dont have the pay statment at hand at the moment.. but just to let you know.. No trucking company is ever going to just say here espically with u just starting out..
To get what u want u need to 1st and foremost earn the respect of the man or woman dispatching u that means show up to Every appointment Early, BE curtious to dispatch on the phone (ie. Tact) and just keep in mind what your ultimate goal is and let that be your Driving Force as for the milage pay it picks up after 6mths to 33cpm miles split
Nonething in the Trucking industry is perfect yes trucks break down there are also Slow Freight Seasons Espically Post December till arround mid march..
Back to CRST VAN Expidited there are Miles to be had i wouldnt Recomend this Company unless your driving with a close friend, wife, ect.
other wise your just wasting your time. -
That 9400 mile week is pretty impressive. Based on a 168 hour week, running constantly without figuring any fuel stops, meals, or any unloading times at the dock of any kindl, you managed to run a 55.95 mph average. That's moving right along. -

first off, i got swindled into contract, 8 months of dealing with BS.....
Trucks break down left n right, not properly fixed, held together with bubblegum and duct tape, ok, yah i know, all vehicles breakdown, but if you "patch it" ------ it's gonna blow again.... fighting within, dealing with a scumbag for a co-driver, my last one got fired for drug test, not a darn thing for me, except a bus ticket from cali to florida, i said hell no,,,,, find me another team to hitch a ride or rental car, of course no rental,,,, no pay, nothing but a headache and smelling like ars on a greyhound.......
gotta fight for a load over 900 miles, if your truck runs, cool, but only .22 mile you need atleast 2000 mile runs, not 30 a day for city, oops they forgot to pay you that too..... if you piss off a dispatcher, you ight as well quit..... they'll hand you to the worst, or newest, either way, dont get any money, been 2 months for me, and i am still in the negative........ if i had a loophole out, besides trashing a truck, i wish to get out soon......
if anyone knows a way out let me know ..........................:smt065 -
If u want out of the Truck and they wont let you out.... my brother reccomended that i do this to get out of a Peter i was in....
Buy something i cant remember the name but its like metal shavings throw it in with the OIL eventuallly the truck is going down for good, he said it wasnt tracable b/c it was metal shavings but i still think its a bad ideal.... umm when i was there i worked under Roy bowers and Ernie S something those are both very good dispatchers, as for the 22cpm ya it blows... theres no reason, i under stand making 33cpm for 1/2 miles b/c u drive 1/2 the time, but lol they are doing the same thing basically, your getting 22cpm for all the miles, and end up with the same pay its perty retarted if you ask me but its something i put up with for 8months till i left them for USXpress -
I salute the team drivers who do it and like it. I couldn't.

We worked for CRST. We left after we had 6 trucks in 6 months one which we never made it off the road in. there equipment is some of the worse i have seen. When we left them we took the truck and trailer to there term in OKC. They put abandament of load on mine and my wifes dac report. So if u r smart stay away from them. Dont learn ur lesson the hard way.
