Swallowing my pride and going to ask what are some best chemical tanker companies in Georgia to work for comparable to Superior. Local gas hauling is not my thing.

Probably can't go back to Superior since I had already been re-hired once last year so that option is out.

That sucks, sorry to hear that. I did some regional stuff with the company I'm with now and I realized that I don't think I ever wanna do regional/local stuff again. I don't think I'm cut out for it. Have you heard about MC Tank? They have a billboard up on I75N for last few weeks, loking for drivers. I did some light research on them and had hard time finding much besides some positive stuff. Good luck.

It probably wouldn't be so bad if Atlanta traffic wasn't such a nightmare. I spend more time sitting in traffic than I do getting my work done.

I am familiar with MC Tank. I'll check into them. I think they pay .45cpm for all miles. Most there trucks look decent.

Tidewater? A&R? Altom? Trimac? No clue if these companies hire in GA, just throwing out names.

Edit: A&R Transport is hiring for regional/OTR within 75 miles of Atlanta. Average $65K. Or so they say.

Trimac has a terminal in Fairburn. They would probably take a look at you anyway.

If you're used to nice equipment you're gonna be in shock with the A&R stuff. Just sayin. I talked to their ATL terminal manager and he seemed like a very straight up guy.

I thought about Trimac. I used to take Superior trailers down there to be serviced from time to time. I have also loaded out of there a few times.

My only issue with them is the terminal is so far from my house. If they would be willing to let me take the tractor home or park it closer to my house that would work.

I checked with Groendyke. I don't think the money is there. They don't want to pay you for much of anything but mileage.

I doubt it but they might do a tankwash.
