The Pete is a long nose... Took a few days of getting used to being in one as I haven't been in one since my training with tmc. Have the 13 showed is nice, and being able to hang out in the left lane.... Oh I tell ya, I'd be banned if I typed out what i feel... My first ride was a 2006 kW t2000, god awful green too... But #### she's a mule with an Egr delete and turned up to 525hp with a13 and 3.55 rears![]()
This could've been bad.

That load above was my first load with him. 2 stops after loading in Indy going to Warsaw where the skid loader cone of, and they put on 7 more of those man lifts then on to the final stop in wixom mi.
G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
I have a love for those Petes, they can be a good ride when run right. And Gunner75 appears to do it right as far as Im concerned.
Some of you give him a hard time. Come on fellas. There is only really 4 options left when that pipsqueak displayed his behavior by failing to slow steadly to a stop sign by the turn of his wheels slowing and speeding a little as he mentally plotted a way to blow that stop sign. Just one little problem 18 wheels coming on him that made him stop finally. He's lucky.
It throws me off all those new bridges and bits of new construction along that 30, I know it like my hand and all the old bridges are gone. I tend to use them as a bit of landmarks and particular attention during winter. Maybe Im strange that way.
The tanker man, yes it will slosh and pile up on the front and try to find a way to turn you upside down Ive had my tanker get misbehaving back there to crazy cars like that pipsqueak pulling out. That is one reason I usually carefully filled the milk tank in the front compartment to the turret dome so that there is no slosh on the way downtown to unload it. That made me light on the trailer end but that's ok. -
Thank you sir. I'll take those compliments all day.
As for the hard time... That's too be expected -
It's rare I guess to see such a good run, I think to tabulate these videos and see if there is more of the same.
G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
Well for starters, the camera is just pointed out the window. No real sense of realism in that lol.Bean Jr. and TROOPER to TRUCKER Thank this.

^^^^ He got on CDL life, mind ya, btw....... @scottied67 did you post it?
-
I think the problem is with this video. You see the guy pull out, but it doesn't look the same as it did to you in person. It looks like plenty of room. I know that's not what it looked like when it happened.
fargonaz, TROOPER to TRUCKER and G13Tomcat Thank this. -
My second week of driving I was going down a grade on a 4 lane, no divider no shoulder road. 65 speed limit, jakes on high, cruising. Right at 80k. Truck in the left lane passing me.. some ####### in a Buick turns out in front of me about 100 feet away, stays in my lane and doesn't speed up past 25..
Was a pant staining slowdown. I finally managed to get down to his speed by the time my front bumper was so close I couldn't see half his car over the hood. Tested the horn as well, but didn't do much good.
Since then, I don't trust any of them not to do anything extremely stupid. I suppose it's a good thing I learned that lesson way early.
