to me although it might not seem that way too much of anything is excess. there is such a thing as overkill... as many people will say keep it simple.... probably less stress and drama which I get all too often in life and driving this truck.....the sun does not rise and fall on my ### !!!!!

if your going to run that beast marks going to build for you look at the power cable Walcott sells it has Anderson quick disconnects which I run on all my radios and it's 4 gauge welding cable. it has a inline fuse on it. I run it straight down to the batteries.the battery it runs off is grounded too with the good ole 4gauge wire from wally mart. the 0/1 I run my amp off is grounded also 4 gauge wire again wally mart..

yes rabbi i know you can build that type of power cord. im a very busy man.compared to a lot of truck drivers who sit around truck stops and the fact that since my mom passed I don't have a stationary place to work on things. I pretty much live in a trk... at least for now....!!!!!

you can't run a 8pill in a crapcadia or really any truck correctly without doing the things I've done. you can use 4 gauge welding cable on the amp with the smaller Anderson connectors but you need to run that cable as short as possible from the batteries into the amp. all the big amp builders will tell you that....time to take my ole ### back to bed. running from or. to n.y. nobody goes to n.y. on purpose I don't .....

well you certainly rarely if ever see someone running the never ready deal at all. the end result is all that matters does the radio receive or put out audio wise 5/10/15/20 miles better....seems like a bunch of fluff to me.....
