So on the same line of thinking. I'm heading to my home terminal to upgrade to solo. I'm not nourvous about the driving test. I'm nirvous as hell tho about once its just me my self and I in the truck. I can grab a spot if there's plenty of room. But any other time then a perfect scenerio, well "sure wish I finished training" would be the apt swift joke here..

Backed out of a driveway on a tight ### one way in Fresno. Backed around the corner and then half way down the street getting to the curb. Overshot the reciving gate and nobody was home so set up for a nap lol. I can do it when there's no defined space. If its just go around the corner or an empty parking lot and put it somewhere type if stuff I can do it. When it comes to a specific spot surrounded by half a mill In rigs I'm all kinds of ####ed

I see a lot of newer drivers that have a timing issue more than anything when it comes to backing. Knowing when to start adjusting your turns while backing takes time and practice. And a lot of messing up. You have to learn your truck. And when you switch trucks, you'll have to learn it again.

I found it best for me to get set up and start my back. As soon as I noticed I needed to adjust my turn, I stopped. Adjusted the wheel and then proceeded back until I needed to adjust again. If you keep rolling back AFTER you notice there is a problem, you will only make it worse. Thus, oversteering.

What if you take the steering wheel out? Definitely can't oversteer then.
