I have past experience and recent experience. I have just over 1 year total but most companies will not accept 2004 experience, so my most recent time is at just under 6 months by one week. I live in Orlando, Fl and I am looking for a local/regional company that does intermodal and and is respectable. Had a bad experience with Swift and will not go back with them! Any good help or suggestion?? Thanks for any help and whether or not I get any answers, you guys stay safe and keep it between the ditches!!!!!!

6 months of experience is rough. I live in Orlando as well. I used to haul containers out of the Winter Haven CSX rail (Replaces now closed Orlando CSX) only company gigs that run that rail are Swift, JB Hunt, Schneider, Southern AG, UPS, and some other company that hauled strange chemical containers... I'll try to find out the name. If you had more experience it would easier to hop into a fleet owners truck for some of the owner op companies.

I have driven all sorts of commerical vehicles but it sucks that they will only go back a certain amount of years. Have you heard of Drive United? I replied to a job post that they are looking for daily/regional intermodal drivers in the orlando area.

If it was a 40' it was either schneider or QC. If it was a 20' it could be any number of companies.
