What was the suspension for and where are you located?

The companies with a cdl school will be tough. Get your cdl and see if western express or transan will hire you.

Suspensions are tough, regardless the cause. The reason schools would not accept you is because they could not easily place you. I have never heard of a suspension for high beams, ticket yes........suspension?? I would assume most safety departments would question this as well. I would get a copy of your driving record and review the detail, I wonder if there is another reason for your suspension listed on the record detail. Most DOT data bases go back 5 years for the ones you can see as driver in your state. Somehow trucking companies are able to search data bases that go much further back. I have a friend who recently applied to a company that does not hire drivers that have ever had a DUI.......his was 20 years ago and they found out about and would not hire him.

Even here in SC you can get a bright light ticket and if you don't pay your locense gets suspended Jist as any ticket in most other states .

It has to be something cumulative... the aggregate of offenses. No way you're getting your license suspended for h-beams alone... No State could be so asinine.

Actually failing to appear or pay any ticket get your dl suspended. If you got a seatbelt ticket and didn't pay or anything they will suspend your license.
